My name is Cara Bizecki, I have called the Okanagan home for 21 years.  I have been embroidering for 14 years, making gifts for friends, family etc.  Although I have no formal education in art, art is my life.

My favorite thing about showing my work is watching people react to it.  I enjoy watching the wheels turn as people try to figure out just what it is they are looking at…and then they realize its thread.

My ‘Studio’ is wherever I am, it can at times consist of just a Ziplock bag containing my current project in a wooden hoop, thread, scissors and a strong pair of reading glasses for magnification.
